About SPiS

SPiS grew out of the buying counter — built by working with scrap yards that were still tracking purchases on paper tickets and reconciling inventory in spreadsheets at the end of every day.

We built a system that fits the way a yard actually operates: fast enough to keep the line moving at the counter, accurate enough to trust for compliance reporting, and simple enough that a new buyer can be trained on it in an afternoon.

Today SPiS handles purchase logging, live material inventory, and reporting for scrap yards that want to run their buying operation on something built for the job — not a generic point-of-sale or retail inventory tool.
